Construction Manager

We are looking for a new Construction Manager who will be responsible for planning, organising, assigning and supervising tasks in all phases of the construction project in CORWIN Slovenia's projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Participation in the coordination and management of all construction phases.
• Responsibility and involvement in planning, organising, assigning and checking tasks in the different phases of the project.
• Achieving project timelines and plans and being responsible for the construction budget.
• Supervising the management of company assets in connection with the execution of the construction project.
• Cooperation and coordination of activities with the company's legal department in relation to contractual obligations.
• Active involvement with the Project Manager in various aspects of project planning and execution.
• Formulating and checking the terms and conditions of tenders from suppliers and contractors.
• Organising and coordinating scheduling, communicating with suppliers and contractors and managing the evaluation of the selection process.
• On-site supervision of construction works, technical supervision of the investor and quality control of the works.
• Preparation of documentation for final inspections and participation in obtaining the occupancy permit.
• Coordination of the complaints process.
• Preparation of tenders, evaluation of tenderers and conclusion of contract documents.

Required competences and experience:

• Qualification in civil engineering or similar.
• At least 5 years' experience in the construction sector.
• Fluency in English.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• B category driving licence.
• High level of responsibility and organisation.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
