The highest standards
At Corwin, sustainability and quality architecture come first. We are therefore very proud to have been awarded the prestigious LEED PLATINUM* certification. Einpark Offices is the first administrative building in Slovakia that has gained this award and one of the top 1% of the most sustainable buildings in the world. Find out what it takes to gain this unique achievement and become a world leader in sustainable architecture.
*sustainability certification system LEED = Leadership In Energy & Environmental Design; Platinum = the highest possible rating within the certification system
In addition to striving for the most environmentally friendly approach during the construction and operation of the building, our team had to make sure that it provides the highest level of comfort and satisfaction for its residents. This meant placing extraordinarily high demands on all the materials, paints, and products used in the building, as well as employing the most advanced technologies on the market.
Intelligent heating of indoor spaces
Quality and comfort
Several systems in Einpark operate fully automatically by monitoring temperature and air quality. The project includes, for example, intelligent air conditioning, which automatically shuts off when the window is opened or, conversely, intensifies the air circulation in the room based on sensors that monitor CO2 concentration. This ensures the healthiest indoor environment and simultaneously saves energy costs.
Intelligent interior temperature control is ensured by the Scandinavian cooling beam technology, which is more energy efficient. It also provides a healthier office environment with its fresh air exchange system and can therefore even increase productivity in the office. These technologies guarantee constant comfort of the employees while minimizing the environmental impact.
Windows without windowsills
Einpark’s technologies positively influence the surrounding microclimate and help foster a healthier urban environment. Green roofs, which are a key element of all our projects, help retain rainwater, reduce city temperatures and beautify the environment. The paints used on the roof reduce the emergence of thermal bridges. The technology of water-water heat pumps is used for cooling and heating. This technology uses regenerative energy from groundwater for cooling or heating of water circulating within the system. We therefore just borrow groundwater and return it all again.
To ensure that the indoor spaces are ideally lit, floor to ceiling windows without windowsills, are used in the building. Furthermore, these windows are made of special insulating glass, which perfectly separates the interior from the outside temperatures as well as the hustle and bustle of the city.
Electric composter at Einpark
Technologies of the future and the future of the city
Although the criteria for obtaining the highest LEED certificate were extremely strict, our team was not afraid to further increase its demands in an effort to introduce new trends to the Slovak market. The project includes an automatic electric composter that reduces and recovers biological waste in the building, openable windows built into a double facade, underground parking, charging stations for electric cars, and a relaxing roof terrace overlooking the city centre.
Rooftop chill-out zone
Einpark perfectly embodies our philosophy and shows what responsible development can bring to the city. We believe that this unique project will inspire other developers in the future and serve as a reference point for a healthy and responsible growth of our city.
